We are giving away 2 pieces of fabric. The one on the left is almost 3/4 of a yard and the one on the right is just over a yard. Also we are throwing in 2 1,000 m rolls of Gutermann White Thread. The picture does not do the fabric justice, they are pretty my gray desk top seems to wash them out.

I used king tut (superior) because it came with it, but I am not sold on it yet. Btw, started my first rag quilt yesterday!

I always use guerterman thread (I know, I spelled it wrong!). If I'm machine quilting, I use sulky rayon thread, I like the sheen on the quilt top.

Oh, boy - my quilting tastes are so eclectic, I have no favorite type to make. :) Although, I tend toward big quilts that are complicated rather than small projects. Threads - favorites for different purposes. Cottons for piecing, 50wt for paper foundation tasks and quilting, sometimes variegated or shinies for quilting, 100wt silk for applique stitching.

I find I tend to be a lapper (or lazy lapper as my quilting buddy calls me LOL). I enjoy making wall size or lap/couch size quilts.

I like to do smaller quilting projects such as hot pads, placemats, table runners, baby quilts, etc. I also enjoy sewing some clothing items, especially refashioning clothing so that it becomes useful again.

Her favourite is Guttermans, she sulks and causes all sorts of tension issues if I use anything else!
