Modern Baby Boy Patchwork Quilt

This is my newest quilt Reunion Baby Bricks it is made using the Reunion line by Sweetwater a Moda fabric. We love this fabric and have made many quilts from it.  It is made of my newest pattern  Baby Bricks.

This quilt sports a scrappy binding which is a new thing for me as I have never done such before.  I think it turned out pretty fantastic.  I did very tight straight line stitching and it makes the feel and look of this quilt fantastic.  This quilt will go on our Etsy store to replace some of the boy baby quilts we have given away or sold.

Tanya was able to go out into the sun today and take these wonderful pictures.  I like this last one of the quilt, just tossed onto the chair.  We have 4 other quilts in the works (tops completed just need to quilt) all using this same pattern to restock some quilts.  We have a few friends having kids soon, so need to get stocked up on baby quilts.

  4. Richard,
it is a wonderful baby quilt. I really like scrappy bindings- a friend that I quilt with has used scrappy bindings as a signature point for her quilts. It is a great way to use up binding scraps not to mention add a fun detail to a quilt.
    Regards,
