Rag Quilt # 2 From Stash

This one is a combination of cotton on top, and flannel back.  It is the leftovers from a quilt we made for our brother in law for Christmas last year.

Richard really likes this one.

This one we pre-washed twice.  I think we turned 5 color catchers pink, besides soaking it in vinegar.

  1. Where would we be without colour catchers?. Salt also sets dye well, a generous handful in the washing water works well also. :)

  2. I really like this quilt. So comfy looking. I am going to make a John Deere quilt for my grandson once all my fabric arrives. It's not easy to find John Deere fabric locally.
I think I need to get some of those colour catchers. I've got quite a bit of red in one of the quilts I'm working on.
