This is another gift for a baby at church. The mother is into retro styles. I figured multi-colored charm square quilt paired with 30's prints would be great. The back is a some "vintage" fabric acquired from Richard's mom.
I love it, Richard. The old stand-bys are sometimes the cutest of all and you have hit it perfectly here with the repro prints and the vintage backing.
I would have liked seeing that backing. =) When my younger son was born in the 70s, someone gave us a squares quilt - all flannel and yellow with a yellow on white floral. It was so nice!
