You aren't the only one whose mother didn't teach you to sew/quilt. My mother HATES sewing. I am self taught. Even the best make mistakes (and believe me, I'm NOT the best). Just have fun with it.Cheryl's Teapots2Quiltinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01005480747596617459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2035065886211353468.post-63906974045197361282012-01-30T12:25:31.009-07:002012-01-30T12:25:31.009-07:00I wouldn't call them crumbs. I like to make them bigger too and give to my quilting friends to use to take with them to retreats. They don't use them as hotpads but as portable ironing pads.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13858230629342252482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2035065886211353468.post-13241064196015372012012-01-28T20:14:05.729-07:002012-01-28T20:14:05.729-07:00you created some nice blocks with those scraps, go...you created some nice blocks with those scraps, good job! when you are ready to jump into free motion quilting, do it on some smaller practice pieces first. it's a lot of fun, so just enjoy the process. you quilt for enjoyment, remember, it doesn't have to be perfect.bunbearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18000120935505368764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2035065886211353468.post-50242277446335481922012-01-28T19:47:39.636-07:002012-01-28T19:47:39.636-07:00Your blocks are beautiful : ).
