Since the first time I saw the little hands and foot prints I knew I was going to make a quilt out of them. The day has come and the quilt is made its one of the cuter boy rag baby quilts that I have made it is the same front and back. It has little starts and yellow and blue dots and a blue tie-die to go with the foot and hand prints, its just so cute.
I live in Salt Lake City, UT and the HQMS Home Machine Quilting Show is coming to town. I finally decided that I plan to go. I took Thursday and Friday next week off work to go. I have never been to a quilting show and while have no idea what to expect. I want to take a class or 2 but there are so many I have no clue what to take.
Is any one out there going? Are you taking a class? What class should I take I know I need to learn more FMQ but don't know what would be too hard or easy. What should I bring? Any way if you know how to go or act at one of these things let me know. The only thing I remember on the web is they have some make and take class things for kids and want to bring my daughter to it. Any hints or help let me know.

I know another person who is going with her daughter. Her daughter entered a quilt! She's not quite in YW yet, but does a beautiful job.
Classes - they all sound so good, don't they? I know it's hard, but focus on one thing. You won't get a late fee this year, so I guess classes haven't filled as much as usual. I would say try Linda Taylor's class, although she is a longarmer, so check to be sure it isn't a longarm class. Renae Haddadin is also very good, though I haven't taken a class from her. Karen McTavish, though again, she's a longarmer. Pam Clarke, ditto. You might try Sue Patten.
I only looked at the list of classes, so don't know which teachers are using baby machines and which are using longarms. All those names are good ones, though. Maybe it helps narrow your list a little!
Beautiful quilt Richard, I hope you have a great time at the show and share with us!
Those little hand and foot prints are SO cute! I love the fabrics you picked to coordinate with it! You are a quilting machine! Amazing that you've got so many finishes going on! Thank you for linking up!
