John Deere Quilt Girl Version

This is a custom rag quilt that was requested.  It gave me nothing but trouble when ordering fabric.

I accidentally ordered a fat quarter instead of half of yard of the one fabric. Then I ordered a half yard and they sent me flannel instead of the cotton I ordered.

This is super small about 32 by 39 inches.

I think it turned out rather cute. I have had it boxed up and ready to send, but the customer never bothered purchasing it.

Ruffle Quilt

We had a  repeat customer request a ruffle quilt.  Here are some pictures of it.

I found out sewing ruffles is not my favorite thing. It has six different silver and white metalic fabrics mixed with Kona Capri. They originally wanted satin, and we told them cotton would hold up better on a toddler bed.

They wanted a silver minky for the back.  They originally wanted a white binding.

We convinced them it would get dirty too quickly.

Here is a picture of the full quilt.  I couldn't edit the colors right in photoshop.  It is quite a heavy quilt, so it was difficult to get a full picture.  The outside pictures show the right color.

Another Baby Shower Gift - Car Quilt

This was a quilt that was for one of Rebecca's leaders at church.

It is a super simple strip quilt.  Tanya made  the top and I quilted and bound it.

Here is the back.  The binding is a orange pearl bracket. This is a quilt made of fabric completely from stash.

Heart Rag Quilt

Tanya quit her job about 3 weeks ago to be a stay at home mom.  She has been sick almost every days since.  She gave up the other day on taking pictures for her self of the stack of rag quilts that we have finished over the last month so she sent Rebecca our 17 year old daughter out to take them.  She did not take the time to make picture as nice as Tanya would have but it is a start.

This rag quilt has two heart prints and pale pink fabric.

The back is a gray tie dye.

This quilt is available on our Etsy store

Simple Patchwork #2

This is a simple patchwork quilt from Joel Dewberry Birch Farm collection. Richard doesn't care for this quilt, because of it's simplicity.

I love the colors in this fabric. The back and binding are the dutch oven in egg blue.

Simple Random Patchwork

Richard though this quilt was boring because it was just simple patchwork. The fabric from this quilt is from Joel Dewberry Birch Farm. The back of the quilt is a Kona bone.  The binding is super scrappy from leftover fabric.

Reunion #3 Simple Squares

This is the third and final quilt that we did in this pattern from Reunion.  The large border is multi-color jacks. The binding is the same.

The back of the quilt is off white from Kona.  I think this one is my favorite.  You would think we would be done with Reunion fabric by now, but we still have quite a bit left.  That is what happens when you ending up buying  half-yard and yard pieces of many of this line.  It is still one of Richard's favorite lines, even if it is several years old.

This is a really fun line with clouds, birds, hot air balloons, airplanes, castles, clothes on line, branches and ships. This is made from Peach and Stone from Storybook line by Kate & Birdie for Moda.

The back and binding are also peach fabric from same line.

Sawtooth #2

We made it out of Wishes by Sweet-water. The back is a confetti print on off white.  The binding is a multi-color medallion print from Wishes.

This is made from the leftovers for the quilt Richard made with a co-worker.

This is one we didn't originally plan a second quilt of, but with the oops and all the fabric cut leftover, we didn't have a choice.  It turned out bright and cheery though.

Here is a picture with #1 and #2 together.  A kid took this picture, don't quite know why.
