Yea Christmas is over (did I really say that) I am burnt out tried to do too much this year so going to take it easy by working on a slower project you can read more about it here.
I made 2 more now and they are a little better then the first one. I have a long ways to go to get them perfect though. One thing I don't like is I am wasting lots of fabric and I hate that.

Those swords look good to me! I don't care for paper-piecing, but I don't know how you'd do this without it.
your swords look great! Is that paper pieciing? I recently eperimented with it a little bit this ast christmas to see if I liked it. It was okay! My mother-in-law-mad e a quilt with the paper piecing and it was beautiful!
