This is a mock up of what I am thinking about on my Orange and Gray quilt. Tanya says Purple would be better with my gray so maybe I will have to do a Orange and Gray and a Purple and gray quilt. Today I was able to get 14 blocks done so far. So do you like Orange and Gray better or Orange and Purple?
Here are 8 of the 14 blocks I have finished.
Rebecca in the last couple days has made 3 more string blocks to add too our collection also. Tanya has done some work also but I will wait to let her show it off as she has a completed quilt that is in the wash.

I like the orange and gray, but I wish you had put a mockup of the purple and gray so I could "see it" to make a decision.

I love the orange and gray as it is! It's gorgeous! Of course, orange IS my favorite color, so I could be a bit biased. ;)

I love the warmth the orange adds to the grey! This is going to be beautiful. If you do a purple and grey version, be sure to include some bright purples--red purples rather than blue purples.
I happen to love the orange and grey... in fact I can definitely see copying you sometime if I may...
i think i like orange and gray better but you can pepper it with a purple square here and there thrown into the larger gray square. lovely! there is a fabric in your gray squares that is gray with a bit of what looks like an orange flower. it's lovely.
I love the mock up with gray and orange, I would leave out the purple or use it in small amounts.
I love purple, but I think I would have to say orange and grey as my choice :-)

Orange and grey is gorgeous!
Orange is a highly underrated and underused color. But it is so beautiful! I love orange, and your orange and gray quilt will be amazing.
