Let us be Gray!

Today in honor of April Fools we are going to look at some of the Foolish things that I quilt.  Last week I was working on gray blocks to go with my orange and gray selection.

And I foolishly went over board and made 29 new gray blocks.  My numbers now are at 44 gray blocks and 24 orange blocks.  Tanya vetoed my idea of making a Orange and Gray quilt for our bed (she still really hates the orange) so it looks like I will only be making a few baby or a lap quilt (for me) out of them.  Which means I have WAY TOO MANY gray blocks.  So to solve the issue Tanya has started to look for color combos she can live with and I will one day actually make a quilt for my bed.  Tell then just laugh at my foolish pile of gray blocks.

I find your blocks so pretty, and they will go with every other colour. Imagine sharp green, or red, or even pink.

I love your blocks, Richard, and they will look great with sooo many other colors.(although I definitely like the orange)

Hi! What about if you kept all the grey blocks, it looks like they are all sewn together. If so, but them in 1/2 by the diagonal twice, then sew them to other colours, which will also be in triangles, maybe 2 other colours, 2 grey, like a quarter square triangle block?
Best of luck, take care, Leslie

They look terrific and will be a nice addition for something. Could even use them as a background with simple applique pops of color?
