This one Turned Out Much Better and a Winner

We like how this quilt turned out a lot better than the first version we did.

We used a  Dark Cotton Shade Roli Poli by Riley Blake and 2 1/2 inch strips of Kona White.

We followed the suggestion of one of our followers Gene Black and Richard quilted it in a circular pattern.

We used a gray fabric from Shades Line by Riley Blake for the back.

We used the same gray fabric for the binding.

Overall it  turned out pretty cute and will be added to our Etsy shop.

The winner of our giveaway is 119.  She has been emailed.

Ohh happy things in my life is my sister got her custom boot yesterday so she can begin walking again. It has been hard with her wheelchair bound for the last 2 months.

Very funky and modern, were would we be without those great 2.5" strips, they certainly make quilting far easier and help expand your creativity.

Looks great, of course, but I liked the other one, too. Definitely a modern, if there's a show coming soon.

This is great. I really do love simple quilts and this is an idea I keep seeing. I think I need to buy myself a Kona jelly roll!
