Well my long last desire of a quilt for my own bed is getting a little closer. I now have the center block of the quilt done. The above block is 40 inches by 40 inches (yes, this is yet again another one of my stars)
Here are a couple shots of the main star with a few of the 20 inch brown and turquoise blocks around it.
Well, no time to yack I have a million 2 1/2 inch blocks to still sew.

I love these colors together... the warm browns vs. the cool aquas are very pretty!
Wow! That looks fantastic - and also like a LOT of work.
I would not have thought to put these two colours together but my goodness how wrong I'd be. It looks great can't wait to see the finished quilt.
