I like to raid the remnants bin at JoAnns, Hancocks, or Hobby Lobby for the best deals. For yardage, especially basics, I like to buy online at Connection Threads.

I shop a lot online at this and that fabric, fabric hut and also find lots on ebayclassifieds in my town. I bought many quilters stash at great prices and that is what I need for my charity quilts.

I have been buying alot of my fabric from Connecting Threads, which has a lovely online site, and sells their own fabrics, made in America, at very attractive prices. Their quality is usually fine, and I often get the 5" sq. samplers of their new fabric lines for a small charge, and that allows me to know exactly what I will be ordering.

I think my fabric "collecting, not stashing" is a disease. I buy mostly in our LQS but do a lot online also.

Thanks for a chance at your giveaway.. I love those fabrics.

I find good deals online and at my local quilt shop. I like to support our local shop....it's a hub for quilters in our area.

I find the best deals at the Fabricland near my mom's house in London, Ontario. There is usually a selection of fabrics at $3.00 per metre. every now and then I find one so perfect that I purchase the rest of the bolt.

I don't shop online. Shipping to Canada has gotten ridiculous, price-wise. Just not worth it. So it's local shops for me!

Best fabric stores / location - has to be the fairs that I am a regular attender of: the bargain piles often have lovely and strange combinations...!!
The web is good - but getting together with other quilters gives a real boost...!

It depends on what I'm looking for. Often it is online that I find the best deals. If I'm more open the LQS has some great extra percent off some of the sale items if I'm outside my comfort zone. ll_gee at hotmail dot com

I find the best deal when my LQS 3 times a year have a 30% off sale on every single thing in the store! Not only do I save but by clearing out older merchandise I know that each time I go to shop it will be filled with fresh new lines of fabric.
