Ghastlies

This quilt was finished a while back.  We just never got pictures and a post done.

Here is a close up of one of the blocks.

It is a difficult quilt to get pictures of.   Each of the wonky blocks has slightly different quilting.

It has been added to our etsy store. We also working on finishing some table runners and wall hangings out of Ghastlies.  We haven't decided if the one we our keeping will go on wall or table, decisions?

Oh no, up she goes!

Yes, can you believe this kid can climb a ladder all by her self.  The second I saw here do this (OK after I took pictures) I took the ladder down and let Jared know he will have to climb up the side, the ladder is gone until his little sister is a little older.

When not climbing, she likes to hang out, on the shelve under "mom's sewing desk" playing with scraps.

Strips of minky make great scarves. She is now officially 18 months old

Richard's Star Quilt

Well my long last desire of a quilt for my own bed is getting a little closer.  I now have the center block of the quilt done.  The above block is 40 inches by 40 inches (yes, this is yet again another one of my stars)

Here are a couple shots of the main star with a few of the 20 inch brown and turquoise blocks around it.

Well, no time to yack I have a million 2 1/2 inch blocks to still sew.

Color Blast Quilt - Blue and Yellow

Queen Size Color Blast Quilt created by Margaret Hayes

Today I would like to share the above Color Blast Quilt made from my Pattern for sell on Craftsy I first created this pattern and the first quilt from it below (Ugly as my wife told me then) while Tanya was pregnant with Julia and too tired to complain about my orange quilt.  Tanya is not so much a fan of my Orange but she has completed one and mad a top for another out of the Color Burst (as she calls it) pattern which she loves.

The Blue and Yellow quilt above is a queen size version of the color blast quilt and wow can I say Amazing.  It is the biggest to date that I know of made out of my pattern.  It was made by Margaret Hayes who bought the pattern on Craftsy back in May.
