This morning I got up early and started totaling up the numbers. Because I can never be simple I will start this post out and give Numbers as I eye balled them this morning at 6am on quilts. Then I will write down all of the quilt names put them in a bowl and let my son pick them. There was a hand full of people that did not correctly pick a quilt name. I will assign each entry to my favorite quilt so those people will still have a chance. I worked from 9 am to 10 pm last night moving work from one office to another in a snow storm so kinda tired and can't think all that well this morning.
So first thing I went though all of the 65 posts yesterday and I believe I emailed every single person back If I missed any one please forgive me. Now for a run down of which quilt is most popular bassed on user choice. The exact numbers may be off it was 6 am after all when I wrote this but it should be close.
Flight of the Dragonfly 16
Dance of the Dragonfly 9
Fug Runner 7
Dad's Zag Zag 7
A Few Of my Favorite things 4
Hearts and Flowers 4
Dragonfly 3 (these lucky guys I will toss their name into both of the dragonfly quilts if they are drawn)
Train Wrek 3 (Come to think about it This is my favorite so if any one did not have a valid quilt name they are going to be auto entered into this one since I like it best)
Blue Hearts 3 (These are blocks not a quilt so will also toss them into Train Wrek)
Paisley Parade 2
Green Quilt of Awesomeness 2 (Jared will be disappointed this did not win I will not tell him before he draws so he does not fish for it haha)
Hearts and Flowers (2) 1
Sweet Dreams 1
And the first up to win is..... Dance of the Dragonfly!!
You will notice here in our live action shots that even our judges Mouse and Bowl are green. You would not believe how disappointed he was that he did not draw out the Green Quilt of Awesomeness and the winner was...... Hearts and Flowers 2
If my counting was Correct Dance Got 9 votes plus the 3 that liked them both (almost like they were cheating hu?) So 12 people are in the draw for First place. Its already 7:30 so by the time I get the list written out and put into a bowl it will be too late to draw and not get Jared to School in time so tonight after work we will finish that part. As for Hearts and Flowers 2 there was only one person that picked that one and I will I hope find some time at work to email her and she can pick 6 choices in order that she likes (If winner #1 picks a item its theres) the #2 gets the next 3 choices.
So If you are in the first Group get your choices warmed up and Ill be emailing and posting the lucky winner tonight after work. I may be home late we are moving again today, so not sure how late I will have to work tonight.
To Recap First Place Winner gets to pick 3 items. The 2nd Place Winner gets to pick 3 items from whats left over. 7 of the 8 items listed below. 8th choice is a Small Table Runner Hand Made by me.

Now for my Blog Specific instructions. I am going to offer 8 item below. I will be picking 2 winners and the first winner can pick 3 of the 8 items. Then 2nd winner can pick 3 items leaving me left with 2 items. To make you work just a tad (this was a hop after all you have to hop over something) you must include in your comment for your blog entry the name of your favorite quilt I have finished. Link to Richard's Finishes to make it easy to find the name. Also you must be a follower of my blog. You can follow though reader, Google friends connect or though rain dancing (is that really a follow method?) List in your response how you follow me, just curious how people follow. Oh and for all you people out there that want more then 1 chance you can also list your blog on the blog hop and get a extra chance so that's 2 responses (listing 2 separate quilts) if you participate.
How the winner will be found. I will put the name of each quilt in a bowl (on a slip of paper) and have my son Jared pick one out. Then we will get the list of all those that guessed that quilt and put their names in a bowl and let him pick one out. This will be done twice once for each winner. Winners will be emailed (oh ya make sure your email is in the response and your not a no-reply blogger). The first winner will get 24 hours to pick their 3 items. And then The 2nd winner will get their chance of the items left over.
Ok is it worth it to HOP over these silly requirements. You decide here are the 8 items.
1) Little Gatherings a Moda Charm Pack.
2) A cutting blade that is not loved in my home (I bought this blade shortly after I started quilting and while when I cut I put just a tad to forcefully and the blade closes, It works, its not a cheap blade just not loved by me) Maybe some one else wants it in their home.
3) A baby Dresden Plate Pattern (also bought specifically for this)
4) Yes 2 special Made hot pads. I have 6 of them sitting in a box so you might not get these exact 2 but 2 just like these. Complete with my Tags on them.
5) Hum I have my picture on its side, good thing Diamonds do not care. Also this tool was bought for this prize.
6) 2 of my Granny Squares (You may get different colors wife gets to pick the ones she wants for the quilts I am making if you want this one you can request colors) oh and one of my cute tags to boot!
7) 2 of my 5 x 5 color squares. Also maybe not exactly these 2 depends on which ones end up in my quilt. You can request colors if you desire this one also.
8) Hey you say I forgot to put a picture in for 8. That is because it's a mystery. No not a pair of dirty socks. I will make you a small table runner similar to Fug Runner (one of my completes) You can suggest colors if you want this one, depending I might have something that works for it not going to go shopping but willing to dig into the stash for items.
So again make a guess. Name the quilt of mine you like best, Name how you follow me. 2nd Guess if you also host a giveaway today. (My wife points out that I did not put a end date. As the giveaway instructions says it closes when leap year/day is over)

Eye Candy
You will remember the above fabric that I got today. I was making more 5x5 and granny squares tonight and was enjoying the bright colors so much I had to make some eye candy. My wife just laughed at me when she saw these.
Might as well show you the other blocks I made but they are not the eye candy of the night sorry about not cropping images too tired tonight to care.
Fugly Wins and a Blog Hop
I promised my self that I was not going to stay up too late tonight getting my blog post in for the day so I am home from work and going to do it first thing. And to my delight piled high on my desk was 3 packages. What fun it is to get mail. I use to hate looking at the mail and now I love it.
The first to be opened was this wonderful fabric to the right from http://smalltownstitcher.blogspot.com/
Like every one of my fugly wins that my wife Tanya has seen, her first words is that's not fugly. And then of course she lists the project I could make it into. This one is destined to be a part of a quilt for her mother. Her words is that looks so much like my mom. If we added blaw blaw blaw (wait I have to admit like most men when the wife starts going on you just start saying ya ya and nodding the head at the appropriate time). But hey as long as she has a plan I am happy and I am sure she will smack my head for not listening to all the important details she was sharing. But she will re-remind me of them later.
Next up Amy from http://threadrobin.blogspot.com sent me the bricks and batik fabric. It is very pretty and I love it. My wife is not a bright and flashy fabric person and this is not on her list of likes (in fact any thing I have suggested similar she drags me in another direction). My my mind is calculating a good project for it. Though my first thought is wow some of those would look neat in my 2 1/2 cuts for my granny quilts and other 5 x 5 blocks and depending where the cut ended up it might be in purple, maybe in blues or pinks or yellows and a few others (oh ya more colors on the same material on other side).
As for the bricks the plan is to make some "Love At Home" Decorations. We have been trying to work with our kids over the last few years to convince them that if they love each other dad will have less of a desire to clunk their heads together. Has not worked so far but maybe some decorations will help. My wife has even offered to hand sew the text on for me and do other things. I am unwilling to hand sew its not my thing but a plan is in place. If you remember right last week I got some clouds too that would go great with the little houses. So maybe in a month or 2 will have something amazing to show you.
As for the last package it was HUGE I had never though about it when I won these, but man it takes a monster envelope to shove rulers in. I won these rulers in the Craizee Corners Nifty Notions Cut for the Cure Giveaway One thing I love is rulers. I now have 2 long ones one 6 inch wide one 8 1/2 wide. I also have to smaller squares 6 inch and 8 1/2 the long ones I use to cut the half width of fabrics (folded so cutting full length across. Then the littler ones to cut to size. Also have a 12 1/2 inch square and then 5-6 other strange shapes. So this will be a great addition.
Last but not least I want to mention the Leap Day blog hop. As soon as I get done with this post I will go write my post for that day. I have a giveaway that I am excited about. More info on the hop by following the button on my side bar or this button here.

Don't be a fly on the wall for this hop, get involved. It only lasts one day and if you miss it you can't get involved for another 4 years.
