The 2 Winners and were home from the hospital

Today started out early and since I had my camera I had to take a picture of this pretty tree down the street from my house.  I got the privilege of getting up at 6am to take James my oldest to a State Level competition in 3D animation

While at the hospital this morning getting ready I had to wrap Julia in her first quilt finished by her Dad, Heart's and Flowers.  She looks so cute and her Mom is so happy to be going home.

My dad, Julia's Grandpa is in a rest home and not doing well.  We took Julia by so that he could hold her (yes with my help) And get her picture taken with her Grandpa.

Tanya's Flowers are now in full bloom.  I am sure now that she is feeling better, she might even get some weeding done (in a few weeks) The house has gone to pieces, with mom pregnant and not feeling well. We are so excited she is back and in good spirits except me and the kids are going to have to clean more Sigh.

I got a few more of my Orange/Yellow materials cut up to make a Disappearing 16 patch quilt.

And now for the 2 winners.  I had my son Jared pick which person was heads and which person was tells and then had him flip a coin (A nickle we were too cheap to do a quarter lol)  The Quilt above Burst Of Color will go to

Block Swaps and Winnings

I got my March Block today from one of my block Swap Partners Cathy Love this wonderful Pin wheel block.
I won one of the Blog Hop Giveaways from Margarita they are some amazing hand dyed fabrics they are going to be fun to use.  I love the bright and flashy materials so this will be fun to find a project to make out of them.
I was also able to wrap Julia up in a quilt that she got from her Grandmother.  She looks so cute in it.

On our winners they both picked the same quilt (and I believe the same 2nd quilt) waiting for one more email back and then will notify both who got which quilt (need to hold a drawing for it as they both picked the same quilt but with baby and all I am some what distracted)   Will get that all wrapped up in the next day or so.

Julia Update and More Pictures

If any one missed earlier post Julia Dawn Healey was born 3/28/2012 at 3:07 PM MST in Salt Lake City UT.  She was 21 inches and weighed in a a hefty 9 pounds 12 ounces.  I have posted 25+ pictures of her on her blog http://juliadawnhealey.blogspot.com/ and will continue to do so over the next days weeks and years.
Train Wrek my quilt that started all of my wild quilting I had to take a picture with Julia and the quilt before she even got a bath.
As you can see she is not bald.  We can almost braid that hair on her head.  Look forward to seeing how cute she looks after all the crinkled I am squished look goes away. (not that she is not beautiful now)
Last but not least having this addiction to quilting means a day can not go by with out something.  Many weeks back I won some hexi plastic thing's (not even sure what they are called) and I managed to make one flower and about 4-5 extra petals.  Wow that hand sewing stuff takes a long time, not sure If I could make many of these, but was neat to try something new.  Any way off work for the next 4 days and will I am sure make something else Quilt y to show off tell then your stuck looking at my Beautiful addition to our family Julia Dawn Healey.
