Striped Yellow Baby Bricks

Here is the second of the Yellow and Gray Baby Bricks Quilt out of Glimma.

In case you are wondering, no I don't think we know how to just do 1 quilt, we have to do multiples.

Here is a close up.

We (meaning Tanya) have been trying to take different pictures, so we have a variety of inside and outside shots.

This quilt has been added to our Etsy store.  The pile to be quilted is down by 3 after a productive weekend.

Rag Quilt # 6 from Stash

This rag quilt has one row of black minky down the center.

I used my machine to  embroidered three outline roses on three pink blocks.

This one turned out cute.

Link a Finish Friday #79

Today is starting with Quilt #5 from the stash by my wife Tanya.  She is trying to get rid of some of the back log of flannel we bought on sale before Christmas last year and over the last week and half I have been cutting and she has been sewing.  I know that so far there are at least 9 quilts made from them.

It is now time for Link A Finish Friday.  Today I would like to start with a big thank you to Fat Quarter Shop who has offered to Sponsor our Link A Finish Friday with Prizes.  This month's winner (August) will win a $15 gift certificate to spend at Fat Quarter Shop.

Baby Granny Square #1 with Butterfly Back

The first of several granny square baby quilts is done.

It was echo quilted around the sashings.  It was stitched in the ditch around the colored blocks for a fun texture.

The back of the quilt has a fun butterfly fabric that matches each of the colors of blocks from the front.

This has been added to our Etsy Store.

This one Turned Out Much Better and a Winner

We like how this quilt turned out a lot better than the first version we did.

We used a  Dark Cotton Shade Roli Poli by Riley Blake and 2 1/2 inch strips of Kona White.

We followed the suggestion of one of our followers Gene Black and Richard quilted it in a circular pattern.

We used a gray fabric from Shades Line by Riley Blake for the back.

We used the same gray fabric for the binding.

Overall it  turned out pretty cute and will be added to our Etsy shop.

The winner of our giveaway is 119.  She has been emailed.

Ohh happy things in my life is my sister got her custom boot yesterday so she can begin walking again. It has been hard with her wheelchair bound for the last 2 months.
