My quilts and my designs by others!

This is a picture from Marci Warren-Elmer (marciwarrenelmer on Instagram). It shows the four quilts and table runner I showed off at our meeting.  More important is one of the first items shown off was a pillow.

This pillow was created by Rachel (remardis on Instagram) which is also where I found this picture.  If you look at it you will will realize that it looks familiar if you have followed my blog long.

She based it off of my quilt that was shown in the guild meeting and hung at the HMQS last May.  Her pillow has just a few differences, I pieced the gray strips out of 2 1/2 inch squares where she did strips and looking at the drawing she made and the pillow you can see that her's has three rows less then mine.  It was exciting to see this pillow shown off at our guild meeting, it made my night.

The above is the sketch and the laying out of the pillow found on her Instagram account.

Last of all, the above picture is a crop from a email advertisement I got from Craftsy.  I was looking at that quilt on the left going hey that looks just like my quilt.  Wait that is my quilt.

Yep the snagged my quilt, cropped my picture and added some one else quoting crap, lol made me laugh.

Link A Finish Friday #80

Today is starting with Quilt #6 from the stash by my wife Tanya.  She is trying to get rid of some of the back log of flannel we bought on sale before Christmas last year and over the few weeks I have been cutting and she has been sewing.  I know that so far there are at least 9 quilts made from them.

It is now time for Link A Finish Friday.  Today I would like to start with a big thank you to Fat Quarter Shop who has offered to Sponsor our Link A Finish Friday with Prizes.  This month's winner (August) will win a $15 gift certificate to spend at Fat Quarter Shop.

Rag Quilt not From Stash

Since we were trying to use up some our stash and get more rag quilts done, we have added a bunch to Etsy and have had two custom quilt requests.  Here are pictures of the second one.

This one is made of Glimma and Kona gray.

The back is a gray minky.  This was about 43 inches by 52 inches. It was shipped to customer the end of July.

There is one more custom rag quilt in the works for Tanya's brother.  It is being made out of John Deere Camouflage print. The one we made him for Christmas last year was swiped by one of his sons, they refuse to give it back.  He wants one that is a twin size for a lap quilt, he is 6 ft 6 so pretty tall.

Striped Yellow Baby Bricks

Here is the second of the Yellow and Gray Baby Bricks Quilt out of Glimma.

In case you are wondering, no I don't think we know how to just do 1 quilt, we have to do multiples.

Here is a close up.

We (meaning Tanya) have been trying to take different pictures, so we have a variety of inside and outside shots.

This quilt has been added to our Etsy store.  The pile to be quilted is down by 3 after a productive weekend.

Rag Quilt # 6 from Stash

This rag quilt has one row of black minky down the center.

I used my machine to  embroidered three outline roses on three pink blocks.

This one turned out cute.
