And the Winner is Andrea we have sent her a email and will send this out to her when she answers.
Wow is it time already to have a SMS Giveaway? It seems to creep up on me each time, well I am distracted. Good thing I was planning to do a giveaway already and have things ready. Not to distract from Sew Mama Sew giveaway day, but tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY! I have decided I stopped aging at 40. I wont tell you how old I am, but I have been this age for 5 years now.
Any way who cares about B-day and who what ever other reason we want to have a giveaway, lets just get on with it. Our giveaway consists of a ruler, mat, cutting knife, and 8 fat quarters.
So what do you have to do to enter? Simple, tell me what you did (or would do) on your 45th B-day! As for me, my 18 year old son is taking me to lunch and a movie. If that is not enough for a B-day what should I do or should have done (if you enter after my b-day passes). Giveaway is open tell may 18th as per the guidelines of SMS.
For those of you that have not just skipped to the bottom,I have extra prizes available if you want to give a little effort too it. I sell a few patterns on Craftsy If you visit craftsy and leave a nice comment on any of my patterns (and leave a extra comment for a bonus entry into our giveaway) I will email you the pattern of your choice. Windows Quilt, Rag Quilt, Diagonal Quilt, and Pinwheel Quilt are some of the more popular, but there are many others. Each comment on Craftsy (and here) gives you a extra entry and a free pattern.
After getting done here, you can find more giveaways on the listing at Sew Mama Sew Site where there are fabric and product giveaways.

«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 442 of 442Happy birthday! I cannot remember! Oh so long ago...most likely a nice dinner out!
Dinner and cake with my fam. thanks! ksmith8@emich.edu
Happy belated bday!
For every birthday, you should do whatever the heck you want! I'd like a day & night in a hotel ON MY OWN. I love me kids, and my husband helps out a ton, but I'm still "on call" when he's taking care of them or I'm out running errands.
Anyway, lunch out with friends (or son) sounds fabulous. I hope you had a great birthday!
Well,45 is a few years away for me;) 14 years out we'll have an 18, 16, and 14(:P) year old. I'll take a nap!!
Happy birthday! I am not quite there, yet, but I stopped counting at 29! I'd probably want to get away somewhere with the hubby!
Hi I commented on Half square triangles.
Also Pinwheels!
I commented on your cute rag quilt!
And chevrons! I can see myself making these.
And 25 squared.
Happy day! I recently had my 35th birthday... and I can't even remembered what we did. Dinner at home I think? Hopefully it's not a sign of my future memory skills!
Happy Birthday! On my 45th birthday I plan on renting a Dodge Challenger and taking a cross country trip. Thanks for the giveaway.
I will eat cake with my family.
I would love to spend the day with my hubby hiking or exploring someplace new on my 45th birthday. Thanks for participating! :)
I think any time spent with family for a birthday is nice. Maybe go for a picnic?
I commented on Craftsy on your windows quilt pattern, really like it!
I commented on your Plus quilt pattern, which is one I have been wanting to make!
I would go to Europe!
I checked out your patterns and commented on 25 Squared as RedBlueCat.
I don't recall any celebration for my 45th birthday. My ex-husband was in the habit of ignoring things like birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries.
There's a reason he's an ex. Your meal with your son sounds wonderful. Anytime you can share with family, the better, even if you went to McDonald's.
When it's my 45th birthday, I plan to go for a family meal. This would involve my myself, my partner, my parents and brothers, my partners parents, brother and sister and my partners nephew and nieces. So there'd be a good crowd of us! :-)
I've commented on your Plus Plus quilt pattern
I joined you through Google Friend
Connect. Laughed at you staying 40. My dad stopped at 39, he said, so I figured I had to stop at 29 or that would make him a bit too precocious. That was our birthday joke between us until he died. So I have been 29 for, um . . . 32, almost 33 years.
I am snausages22 and commented on your Baby Chevron pattern!
Thanks for the giveaway,

I've commented on your Windows quilt
When I turned 45(a few years ago), we had a huge family party, with me cooking the jumbo lasagna. It was such a hit that hubs and I had to go to Macdonalds after everyone left, as we had not had enough to eat!!! My bro was up for seconds before we got a chance to eat firsts!!
Thanks for the giveaway,
Jacqueline in Pitt Meadows
The big 4-5 eh? Well, I am not there yet, but I did something for my birthday once that most people never do in their lifetime so I will suggest it: I went on a roadtrip, alone, without contact (other than to text every time i stopped in case i disappeared!) and without a destination. It was the most freeing thing ever, and I learned a lot about myself. Have a good one, whatever you do! hoopla((at))thecrafties((dot))com
I commented on you windows pattern, so cute
45th birthday, I am staying 29 for ever! Happy Birthday
Thanks so much for the giveaways! I hope my 45th birthday will include lots of cake and other goodies. =)
Happy birthday! I think it's a great idea to stop ageing after a certain age but still celebrate birthday each year :)My 45th birthday is still in the future, so I'm not sure what to do yet, probably nothing fancy, just spend time with my family.
Also, your quilt patterns are amazing! I particularly love the Pinwheel and Color Blast Quilts. It's too hard to choose a favorite--you'll have to do it instead! ;)
Happy (belated) Birthday, and thanks again!
I think on my 45th birthday, I'll make my kids take me out! They'll be grown by then. Thanks for the giveaway! Dinder1(at)yahoo(dot)com
Great giveaway! A dinner out sounds like a great birthday idea. So does a day at home with nothing to do but sew!
I'm almost there too! I decided I want to take some Japanese cooking lessons!

Happy birthday, Richard! Enjoy the celebrating with the family! I'm way past 45 so if it were me for most birthdays now my hubby takes me out to my favorite restaurant for both lunch and dinner with a sweet movie sandwiched in between.
Richard, I commented on your Plus Plus quilt. I've liked it since you first made it. andreahfranklin at gmail dot com
Happy birthday. I think that any celebration that makes you feel loved is the right way to celebrate.
I commented on the diagonal quilt pattern
I commented on the pinwheel pattern.
whoa it was hard to pick just 1 pattern to comment all! They are all beautiful! After consideration, I think my favorite is the diagonal quilt so I commented on that one! :)
Happy Birthday! That sounds like a nice way to celebrate... I guess I would hope for a lazy day celebrating with family, with some chocolate and bubbles on the side.
Thanks for the chance, that is lovely fabric!
