I always get excited to see quilts made out of my patterns.  I received a email today from Melanie at Catbird Quilt Studio pointing to her post about this quilt pictured here.  It is always fantastic seeing a quilt made using a pattern I wrote.  For those that have not seen the quilt I made you can read about it on the post I made of it on this blog called Pillar of Fire

Orange Creamsicle Quilt

When a customer through Etsy requested custom orange and white diagonal quilt, the first thing we both thought of was a creamsicle.

 It was finished last night, pictures were taken today and its ready to be mailed.  

Here is the back, another wonky log cabin and stripes.

  

It turned out quilt nice.

Wow is it time already to have a SMS Giveaway?  It seems to creep up on me each time, well I am distracted.  Good thing I was planning to do a giveaway already and have things ready.  Not to distract from Sew Mama Sew giveaway day, but tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY!   I have decided I stopped aging at 40.  I wont tell you how old I am, but I have been this age for 5 years now.

Any way who cares about B-day and who what ever other reason we want to have a giveaway, lets just get on with it.  Our giveaway consists of a ruler, mat, cutting knife, and 8 fat quarters.

So what do you have to do to enter? Simple, tell me what you did (or would do) on your 45th B-day!  As for me, my 18 year old son is taking me to lunch and a movie.  If  that is not enough for a B-day what should I do or should have done (if you enter after my b-day passes).    Giveaway is open tell may 18th as per the guidelines of SMS.
