Today started out early and since I had my camera I had to take a picture of this pretty tree down the street from my house. I got the privilege of getting up at 6am to take James my oldest to a State Level competition in 3D animation
While at the hospital this morning getting ready I had to wrap Julia in her first quilt finished by her Dad, Heart's and Flowers. She looks so cute and her Mom is so happy to be going home.
My dad, Julia's Grandpa is in a rest home and not doing well. We took Julia by so that he could hold her (yes with my help) And get her picture taken with her Grandpa.
Tanya's Flowers are now in full bloom. I am sure now that she is feeling better, she might even get some weeding done (in a few weeks) The house has gone to pieces, with mom pregnant and not feeling well. We are so excited she is back and in good spirits except me and the kids are going to have to clean more Sigh.
I got a few more of my Orange/Yellow materials cut up to make a Disappearing 16 patch quilt.
And now for the 2 winners. I had my son Jared pick which person was heads and which person was tells and then had him flip a coin (A nickle we were too cheap to do a quarter lol) The Quilt above Burst Of Color will go to
And
Will get A Twist of Red indecently both picked the same first quilt and 2nd Quilt. Congratulations I will get these boxed up and out in the mail Saturday if Julia my little helper will allow it.
She is just the cutest little quilt helper!
Oh as a last note I totally forgot it was LAFF today so um I will have to make it up to you next Friday call it a little bit distracted and I missed one.

That must be exciting getting to take her home! So sweet you stopped by to visit your dad so he could see her!
How many blocks are you planning to make? looks like a lot of squares =P
Congratulations!!! She's a doll!
Congratulations to the winners. The flowers are beautiful! You know, weeds are plants, too. =) I love the picture with your dad. That is a treasure.
She is just the sweetest little girl. I'm sure your dad enjoyed seeing his new grandaughter and it perked him up. It's amazing how one tiny little bundle like that can touch a grandparents heart, even if the times are not the best. Also want to say congratulations to the winners.
Congrats to the winners! And again congrats to you and your wife --- Julia is a beautiful baby! And not to leave anyone else out -- You have a beautiful family! Love all the photos -- thanks for sharing!

Congratulations to all of you. That's wonderful you were able to stop to see your Dad so he was able to see her. I'm sure you will remember that forever and be thankful you did it since you say he's not doing very well.
Congratulations to the winners also.
WHat a beautiful baby! She looks so alert in her new blanket. So sweet. I look forward to the Burst of Color quilt arriving...and I am interested in how that disappearing 16 patch will look.
