A Twist of Red is a twist on my Man Quilts. If you look at the squares the only real pattern is the paisley blocks with red behind them. All of the black and white squares go in a dark, then light pattern but none of them have more then 6 or so of the same print going across the quilt. I was able to use up all of the left over blocks from my quilt. I still have in the Man Quilt box squares in 6 different colors to make 1 more quilt.
The kids took the pictures this morning while we tried to get ready on the day after daylight savings time. All of us are tired, so sorry for the slightly blurry pictures. My son says tonight in the sun after school he will take some more pictures.
Tanya thought I was funny when I wanted the red behind the paisley with the gray behind the black and white blocks, but I think it turned out wonderful. What do you think?

The pictures are fine! I like the red peeking out.
I think it looks great with the red showing just a little! Great job and thanks for sharing!

I love the red. Great effect. Came here from Quilt Story just to see how you accomplished that.
I love the red peeking through. Great idea!

LOVE the twist of red. Great quilt name, great quilt concept. Congrats on ANOTHER great finish! I'm going to give up sleep so I can get as much done. And thank you for linking up!
