Link A Finish Friday #2

Being over ambitious as a new quilter and blogger, I have set a goal to finish at least 1 something a week.  Be that a quilt, a mug rug or if all else fails a good sandwich.  Wait that won't work.  Lets try it again.  1 quilt, a mug rug, a um well something sewn.  Any way that will be 52 finishes for the year.  My 2012 Finishes will be where I list them all.  But what I want to know is how many of you can keep up the pace with me and finish 52 things for the year.  What better way to keep up then to 1 work on your quilts, and 2 share those with others.  Being a web developer by trade, I know how important a link to another blog is (hint linking to me makes me happy) and I want you all to make sure you have at least 1 person look at your finish. (that's me). I will make a honorable attempt to look at every finish added to my list and try to make a comment on most of them. At the very least I will follow the blog of every one that links a finish.

So for the rules.

1) Who likes rules. Toss them out.
2) Add a link to your finish (blog,, Pisca web album) or where every you store your pictures.
3) Visit a few of the finishes and comment or encourage them on.

Not Required but fun to do

1) Follow my blog.
2) Follow the blog of all those that link.
3) Link back to my blog.
4) No finish, go quilt and stop reading the web.

Does a crochet finish count? lol. I don't think I finished something sewn this week! But you have an ambitious goal and I'm impressed - 52 finishes for the year!

Thanks for hosting! I love to see all the finishes. I linked my table runner made with charm squares. I added it as a finish as I will do the binding tomorrow -- so technically it is finished -- have to work today - quilting!
Have a great day!

Hi Richard, firstly I want to congratulate you on all that you have achieved as a 'beginner quilter'. You have improved immensely and definitely better than a lot of my other 'beginner' friends that I know!! I guess lots of practice, makes perfect. Secondly, thanks for all yr comments in the Quilting Block Swap Australia. Thinking of joining, please feel free to contact Sue(organiser), I'm sure she'll welcome you with 'open arms' as you would be our FIRST male member. Richard, I enjoy reading your blog (humorous and down-to-earth) and it also reminds me of 'me', when I first started quilting (eager and enthusiastic)!! Keep it up.

Your blog is growing by leaps and bounds.
I see you won some handmade buttons too.

I hope you are enjoying the quilting world.

Happy Sewing

I finished 28 thread catchers so far this year, can I just spread them out??? I could finish the sandwich each week, but, not sure about anything else. Keep on sewing!
